EXPANSION JOINTS
Axial expansion joints are designed to absorb axial movements (extension and compression in its longitudinal axial direction).
LATERAL

Lateral expansion joints are used to absorb lateral deflection. We have both customized and standard solutions.

Angular expansion joints allow angular movements only, contrary to axial expansion joints which elongate and compress in the pipeline axis.

Most of the metallic expansion joint has to be customized approximately 90% of all Expansion Joints sold are customised to client requirements (case stories). No matter the requirement and the solution, the ground principles in the design procedure are the same. Of course, the client requirements, number of drawings, calculations and analysis varies.
Belman designs and calculates all our high-tech Expansion Joints through the use of our in-house developed software BelMaker®, where all the latest design codes are implemented.
We also use softwares such as ANSYS, OHMTEC, Autodesk Inventor, Rohr2, etc for expansion bellow calculations. Further, Belman expansion joints designing according to all design codes such as EJMA, ASME, EN or client-specific design codes.
